About Elena
In early 2000's Elena took a trip to Barcelona, Spain, where she discovered the incredible work of architect, Antoni Gaudi. Her time in Parc Guell became the landmark for her creative visions in the years to come.
She later rediscovered mosaic art through her work colleagues within the practice the expressive arts therapy. Her training in 2006 allowed her to develop numerous skills to combine many passions within visual arts.
Her studio work was initiated by a large mural commission she received while in Argentina.
Elena's passion for working with communities has taken her across her home province of Ontario, Canada, creating beautiful mosaic works of art that live in public and private spaces.
She's thrilled to continue on this journey sharing the joys of this art form and expressing herself within community settings, sharing the quiet, calm, and meditative practice that is mosaic art.
